Tyrosine And The HCG Diet

Wednesday, November 16th, 2011

Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid synthesized from phenylalanine, an essential amino acid. An essential amino acid comes from an outside source and is not produced by the body. It can be found in many high protein foods like: chicken, fish, peanuts, almonds, avocados, milk and pumpkin seeds. Although tyrosine is classified as a non-essential amino acid, since it can be synthesized from phenylalanine, there are special considerations that may make it a conditionally-essential amino acid.

Tyrosine can assist with weight loss because of the amino acid’s ability to speed up the body’s metabolism. It is also valuable for dieters on a very low calorie diet like the Liquid HCG program, when your protein intake is limited.

Here are some other facts about Tyrosine:

  • Helps keep hormone levels in balance and is also responsible for the release of the human growth hormone.
  • Has been proven to help as an anti-depressant and stress reducer because of its’ stimulating properties.
  • Has appetite suppressing benefits.
  • Helps reduce fatigue and boost the recovery rate after a workout. This is especially important for our Liquid HCG Active  users.

We would like to reiterate that supplementing with amino acids will improve performance and ensure that you don’t start breaking down muscle for energy. Our product, “Liquid Amino Plus +”, is enriched with Tyrosine and several other amino acids that help the body while going through the Liquid HCG Diet. It’s the perfect formulation to help you lose weight, stay strong and boost your metabolism.

Amino Acids… Essential For Our Diet!

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

Amino acids are the “building blocks,” that make up protein. They are essential to our diet!

Proteins are used by every cell in your body. They make up the organs, glands, muscles, tendons, ligaments, etc.  They are essential for the growth, repair and healing of the body.  In fact, proteins regulate hormones, enzymes and the body’s water balance.  They help with (more…)

Ornithine And The HCG Diet

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

L-ornithine is a non-essential amino acid that is important in the formation of citrulline, proline, and glutamic acid; all three of which are amino acids that help supply energy to every cell in the body. It also works extremely well with another amino acid, glutamine. We have chosen to add it to our HCG diet drops formulation because it is often used as a nutritional supplement and is helpful in protecting and building lean muscle mass.

L-Ornithine is one of the less popular amino acids, however, it helps us gain and maintain overall health by doing the following:

  • Initiate the release of growth hormone in the body, which promotes the metabolism of excess body fat
  • Remove nitrogen form our bodies
  • Assist in proper function of the liver and the immune system
  • Aid in ammonia detoxification and urea formation
  • Stimulate insulin secretion and help insulin work as an anabolic (muscle building) hormone
  • Some studies suggest that this amino acid has anti-aging properties, as well as many other medicinal qualities

L-Ornithine is often combined with Arginine, another amino acid that has been added to our formulation, to protect lean muscle mass, as it is needed to build and maintain muscle during intensive physical training. They work synergistically together but L-Ornithine is generally thought to be twice as effective at supporting lean muscle production as Arginine.

The Liquid HCG Diet drops were formulated, in conjunction with our FDA certified lab, to help you lose on average a pound per day when combined with the HCG diet protocol. Health coaches are available to answer further questions or help you get started at 800-980-7208.

Arginine And The HCG Diet

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

Arginine is a semi-essential amino acid that aids in weight loss and promotes lean muscle mass. It can be found in foods like; animal meats, raisins, nuts, seeds, almonds and even spinach. It is considered a semi-essential amino acid because, even though the body normally makes enough of it, supplementation is often needed when exercising to prevent protein malnutrition.

Why does Arginine matter with regards to the Liquid HCG Diet? Because it can aid in weight loss as it promotes lean muscle mass and a reduction of body fat. So it will work WITH the HCG to protect your lean muscles and help you lose fat.

Here are some other facts about Arginine:

  • Arginine has been linked to the production of the human growth hormone (which is crucial for muscle growth and tissue repair). A review by the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) has found that supplementing with 6-20 grams of essential amino before a workout can significantly stimulate muscle growth.
  • Arginine assists in lipid oxidation and removal of toxic waste products from the body.
  •  Arginine supports healthy blood pressure as it is a precursor of nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is a gas that dilates blood vessels, increasing blood flow, thereby allowing increased blood flow to reach constricted areas.
  • Arginine aids in protein synthesis.
  • Arginine supports the immune system.
  • Arginine helps regulate salt levels in the body which prevents water retention.

Supplementing with amino acids will improve performance and ensure that you don’t start breaking down muscle for energy. Our product, “Liquid Amino Plus +”, is enriched with Arginine and several other amino acids that help the body mobilize and burn fat. It also has our original HCG formulation, and supports the Pituitary, Hypothalamus, Adrenal, and Thyroid glands. It’s the perfect formulation to help you lose weight, stay strong and boost your metabolism.

Carnitine And HCG

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

Liquid HCG Diet uses an exclusive formulation of homeopathic HCG drops that have been enriched with support for the endocrine system as well as 4 different amino acids. One of these amino acids is L-Carnitine which is a non-essential amino acid meaning that it is made by the body from essential amino acids or normal breakdown of proteins. Its primary function is to transport long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria (the energy powerhouse of the cells) where they are oxidized to produce energy.

It is popular among health enthusiasts and dieters because it helps turn fat into energy and acts as a natural weight suppressant.  L-Carnitine is great while doing any diet but especially while on the Liquid HCG Diet, as it promotes muscle growth and development, burns fat, increases energy, reduces muscle fatigue, and helps to reduce hunger and fatigue.

Studies have shown that L-Carnitine helps to increase the hearts output and improve its overall performance, as well as stimulate the hearts energy supply and is proven to greatly benefit your cardiovascular system in general.

Other studies have found that L-Carnitine supports muscle tissue regeneration, reduces exercise-induced catabolism (muscle breakdown), reduces free-radical generation, and minimizes muscle tissue disruption.

L-Carnitine is found primarily in red meats (especially beef and lamb), dairy products and avocados. Vegetarians consume very little L-Carnitine, and may need to supplement to ensure healthy levels in their bodies.  With a deficiency in L-Carnitine, your body will not metabolize energy right and will not work to its full capacity.

To summarize, L-Carnitine is essential for metabolizing food into energy, promoting healthy muscle function and lean muscle mass, reducing free-radicals, preventing fatty build-up around vital organs, and keeping your heart and body healthy. L-Carnitine helps to maintain overall good health and has helped thousands of people succeed while on the Liquid HCG Diet.
