A resent study shows that for people who don’t normally consume cayenne pepper, adding it to foods while dieting can help increase the rate your body burns calories.  Cayenne pepper can stimulate your metabolism up to 20% and helps clean fat out of your arteries.  A popular drink while on Liquid HCG Diet is the California Kicker (which incorporates cayenne pepper).

There are other spices that can help your body burn calories and process foods and eliminate waste.  The following can help:

Creating New HCG Diet Recipes

We have hundreds of recipes on our site available to everyone for FREE!  Recipes are submitted by both users and Liquid HCG Diet staff so please verify for yourself if the recipe is within the allowed recommendations.

Some things to remember while creating your own HCG friendly recipe:

  • Use only foods on Dr. Humble’s list of approved foods

HCG Recipes; Phase 1

If you are looking for specific HCG Recipes for Phase 1 – don’t. There are no specific recipes. Phase 1 is the 2 days of what we call “loading.” During this time you begin taking your drops and eat anything and everything you want. There are no limitations to what you can eat.  For loading, make a list of your favorite foods and start enjoying because you will not be eating them for a while after this! Try to aim for high fatty foods. If you are not a big fan of pizza, ice cream or burgers, you can always eat healthy foods high in fat such as avocados, nuts, and olive oil.  The purpose of Phase 1 is to really prepare the body for the low calorie diet that you are about to start as well as carry the HCG into the stored fat cells and get them ready to mobilize, so to speak. HCG Diet Recipes and Cooking Tips

Preparing meals for your HCG diet is not as daunting as it might seem at first glance.  Look at it this way, your portions will be small so you don’t have to prepare a lot.  :)   All jokes aside, there are some general tips and rules that are best to follow when trying to maximize your weight loss when on the liquid HCG diet.

Food Preparation Ideas:

Phase II (Day 3-40) is really the core of the HCG diet.  How closely you stick to the protocol, will determine how successful you will be.  Preparing and eating foods that are within 500 calories is crucial.  Here are some food preparation ideas to keep variety in your diet and help you maximize your success:

The use os spices can help you stay interested in your food:

(Make sure they do not have added calories or sugars in the packaged spices)

Lemon, Italian Seasoning, Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano, Cinnamon, Stevia (sugar substitute-all flavors), Pepper, Garlic, Ginger root, Garlic Powder, Paprika, Crushed tomatoes, Pumpkin Allspice, Chili Powder, Cilantro, Poultry Seasoning, Celery Salt

Soup Base:

Chicken/Beef Bouillon, your favorite spice combination, and your allotted vegetables and meats for the meal.

Cloves, Bouillon Cubes (Beef or Chicken), Ground Cumin, Apple Cider Vinegar, Dry Mustard, Wasabi, Chinese 5 Spice, Parsley, hallots, Chives

*Any Spice that doesn’t have added calories or sugar.

Meat Marinade:

Your choice of spice blend, apple cider vinegar, and lemon juice.

Tomato Sauce:

Crushed tomato, garlic cloves, and any of your favorite Italian spices.

Desserts:

Add cinnamon, lemon juice and your favorite Stevia sweetener/flavoring to your fruit allotted for the day.  It can be even tastier warmed up!

Breading for Vegetables or Meat:

Use your cracker allotment for the day and crush them up with your favorite spices.  This can add texture and flavor to your foods.

Asian Style:

(Chicken, Steak, or Shrimp taste good prepared in these flavorings).

Chinese 5 spice, garlic, onion, and Wasabi can all add an Asian flair to your food.

Mexican Style:

Onion, chili powder, lemon juice, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika can all add a Mexican style to your cooking.
